Item Description

Amazingly angular, sharp copper is attached to quartz and a bit of matrix on this striking and very sculptural piece from Copper Country. Negative casts of numerous, long dissloved away sharp crystals give both the copper and quartz their angular appearance. The copper has been cleaned to bring out the very bright coppery patina and a bit of scattered malachite is a nice accent. Old-time material from the Wes Parker Collection.
