Item Description

A wonderful example of this classic material from Keweenaw County, Michigan featuring a showy and aesthetic group of Copper crystals is an eye-catching "tree"-like formation. The crystals are mostly dodecahedral in habit, but I can see some slight octahedral and tetrahexahedral modifications up close. The piece is crystallized on all sides and displays beautifully as you can see. Michigan Coppers are among the finest crystallized examples of the species in the world, and considering that the majority of them were mined before the turn of the 20th century, they are highly desirable and sought after by collectors.
