Item Description
A striking, horned, copper specimen from the old Adventure Mine of Michigan. The stacked, sharp, tetrahexahedral crystals have a nice patina and form a distinctive biomorphic head with horns. Green epidote and porcelaneous datolite are nifty accents to this excellent, very showy matrix specimen. The Adventure Mine was organized in 1850 and ceased operations in 1917. Classic, old material from the Larry Krause Collection. Easily displayable from many angles!! Valued at $500-700.
