Item Description

An amazingly scuptural CABINET copper specimen from Copper Country. This dramatic, artistic, elongated piece consists of one long spinel-twin attached to flattened and knobby intergrown clusters of tetrahexahedral crystals. The piece has a fine, variable patina, with some iridescence. Green malachite is noted on the central "body", as a nice accent. The striking form of this floater piece is unlike any Michigan copper we have offered at auction. Obviously, old-time material. Ex Richard Hauck Copper Collection. Fairly valued at $1500-2000.
