Item Description

Michigan copper in calcite specimen are always highly desirable. This very showy cluster of glassy, striated, calcite crystals are all very richly included with bright copper microcrystals. The large crystal is 3.5 cm, one portion is doubly terminated and the termination has just a trivial bit of bruising. The green epidote embedded in the sides is a nice accent. This remains a highly representative, old-time, two-sided example of the sought-after species and famous locale and is in very fine condition. Certainly around 100 years old and probably from the Quincy Mine. Ex Sal Avella Copper Colletion. Valued at $500-750. MUCH,MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
