Item Description

A VERY FINE, SUPER RICH and SHOWY specimen of bright, micro-dendritic copper in a sawed, transparent CABINET gypsum cleavage from the Mission Mine of Arizona. Old and very choice material, shaped just like a boot! Such thick windowpane slices with such rich forests of copper inside are almost never available! A piece half this size sold last year at auction for $400 or so. This one, just to us in a new collection, is even better and is valued $750 or higher, as its the best I have had for sale. In person, looking at the internal meshwork, you can see how mesmerizing this is and why it is such a classic. Ex Mullane Collection.
