Item Description

Sharp tetrahexahedral and spinel-twinned copper crystals with a beautiful patina have partially pseudomorphed a very sculptural miniature cluster of sharp intergrown cuprite octahedrons. The dominating large octo is 2.0 cm. These exceptional combinations were recovered in the late 2000s from this volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposit (MINDAT). These are the finest cuprite and cuprite combinations to have been recovered in the last ten years. The piece has two fine display views. Valued at $1000. Seldom available today, as supplies have dried up.
