Item Description

This is an extremely elegant, classic style for the Phoenix Mine, which hit its heyday over 100 years ago in the late 1800s. It is a tall, feathery specimen that is sturdy, but looks fragile and elegant. The branch is made up of both single, sharp tetrahexahedral crystals and spinel twins. The color, luster, and patina are very good, and there is a partial coating of Tenorite in places. The aesthetics are excellent, and it is even better in person. Old label included. Originally priced at $750, twenty years ago!
