Item Description

A gorgeous and fine quality near cabinet sized display specimen of the famous Coppers from the Ray Mine in Arizona. This piece is essentially a "floater" crystallized plate featuring excellent elongated "Spinel"-twins of Copper along with dozens of additional non-twinned tetrahexahedral crystals on both sides. Upon close examination, the crystals looks fantastic up close and we've included some macro photos to better show off the quality. The Ray Mine has produced some of the finest crystallized Copper specimens in the United States outside of Michigan. Pieces like this are desirable and much harder to find on the market than they were 20+ years ago. Valued $1,500.
