Copper with Chrysocolla

Item Description

This is a highly unusual copper specimen in any regard, with a "leaf" copper 3 cm tall perched seemingly embedded in a swirling matrix of chrysocolla! On closer look, much of the matrix is actually also thin plates of copper leaves, dusted and covered by the copper mineral, chrysocolla. It is a strange looking specimen, and a strange association. The certial, standing leaf of copper is 3 cm tall and nearly freestanding. A highly unusual specimen from new finds in Indonesia, as we start seeing more and more mineral production here.
