Item Description

A colorful and very rich large specimen of the rare copper mineral cornetite from this famous and abandoned mine. Intensely sparkly, crayon-blue and navy-blue, cornetite microcrystals in spherical aggregates are nicely complimented by tufts of green primary malachite crystals and scatterings of powder-blue chrysocolla. The bit of periphery wear is noted, but is only a very modest detraction. These striking specimens appear only sporadically on the market and are much sought-after by collectors for their beautiful contrast of colors.
