Item Description

Cosalite is an uncommon lead, bismuth sulfosalt and this is a very fine and rare combination specimen from this well-known locale. Nested, jackstraw sprays of metallic cosalite needles to 1.8 cm are aesthetically scattered on the undulating quartz crystal matrix. A 1.5 cm band of lustrous, brass-yellow, pyrite crystals is a nifty accent. A rare occurrence is the 1.6 cm, lustrous and translucent, cuboctahedral fluorite crystal on the right side, which is colored gray by inclusions of cosalite.
