Item Description

Crandallite is a rare complex phosphate and is the calcium analogue of plumbogummite. It is found as well-formed pseudomorphs after wavellite crystals, minyulite crystals, and other phosphates. This is an outstanding rich and sculptural example of crandallite pseudomorphs after sharp wavellite botyroids. The pseudos are dramatically clustered and reach 1.3 cm. Specimens of this richness and quality are RARE from well-known Mauldin Mountain. It looks great from either side.
