Item Description

The beautiful orange Creedites from the Navidad Mine are some of the most iconic examples of the species ever found, and most certainly the largest and most displayable Creedites out there. In fact, before these specimens hit the market, it was quite difficult to get your hands on a good display quality specimen of Creedite from any locality. This piece features a beautiful radial "sprays" comprising dozens of very sharp, lustrous, well-formed glowing reddish-orange colored crystals of Creedite measuring up to 1.1 cm. Some of the crystals are nearly opaque, but very saturated in color, while others are quite gemmy, with a much softer orange hue. If you look closely, you'll see beautiful "ice"-like etched crystals of pale green Fluorite scattered all over the piece. The piece is in great condition all around, save a point of attachment on the base where it was removed from the pocket. It displays well from several angles. Excellent color, size and quality for these famous and now classic Creedite specimens. Priced in the inventory at $1,250.
