Item Description

This is a very old Creedite from some of the earlier finds in the Santa Eulalia district, before the better-known purple examples came out in the 1980s. The luster and clarity are excellent, with the Creedite crystals reaching up to 5 mm. Colorless and gemmy clusters like this are quite uncommon and they have a beautiful aesthetic all their own. Think of a Creedite version of the invisible Fluorites from Dalnegorsk. Kay acquired this in 1969, and it was #5800 in her collection.
