Item Description
Beautiful rich orange-red, lustrous, translucent, crocoite prisms, to 1.5 cm, are densely clustered and dramatically line a vug atop the sculptural small cabinet matrix. This classic and very showy two-sided piece is from the well-known Adelaide Mine, a former Ag-Pb mine and now operated as a crocoite specimen mine. A showy and rich, probably older specimen from the 1993 find, as it comes with an Ordway Minerals label. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection, a well-known fossil and mineral expert and Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum. He passed away in 2020. Highly representative, rich and colorful older crocoite from the locale.
