Item Description
The finest crystals of Crocoite ever found are those from the famed Red Lead Mine in Tasmania, Australia. These phenomenal specimens are well-known for having the biggest crystals with the finest color for the species. This piece is a good specimen of these classic Crocoites featuring dozens of sharp, lustrous, strong orange-red colored, prismatic crystals measuring up to 1.5 cm with very minor matrix. Good condition for the most part, though there are some contacts here and there.
