Item Description
Robust, sharp, gemmy and lustrous, reddish-orange crocoite prisms to 3.5 cm are aesthetically clustered in a sculptural gossan matrix. This is a very sturdy older specimen from the famed mines at Dundas. Most recent material is much more fragile. Excellent, older material from this noted locale. The color, luster and gemminess of the crystals are very noteworthy. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
