Very pretty, light mint-green, cuprian dolomite has pseudomorphed sharp calcite scalenohedrons on this striking, sculptural, curved crust from Tsumeb. The specimen is extremly light weight for its size, like balsa wood, as a few broken tips on the pseudos reveal, that they are hollow! Hence, the pseudos are casts after the calcite crystals. A rare, excellent and very showy pseudomorph from Tsumeb from the Rob Smith Collection. Valued at $900-1200. pretty, fine, UNIQUE AND MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
