Chalcotrichite is RARE from Morenci compared to Bisbee or Ray. Tiny, sparkly, blood-red needles carpet the front of the gossan matrix plate on this very rich small cabinet from the Tom Hales Collection. The back is also richly covered with needles. Collected in 1985, according to his label. Desirable, rich and RARE chalcotrichite from Morenci. A MUST for the locality or species collector.
