Danburite (classic material)

Item Description

A beautiful small cabinet of the classic material from Charcas featuring a handful of very sharp, highly lustrous / glassy, GEM quality, colorless, prismatic crystals free of matrix. The main crystals are in good shape, and there are a few secondary accent crystals growing around the lower portion of the specimen. I love the textbook chisel-shaped terminations and beautiful striations along the prism faces of the main crystals. A small ding can be seen near the termination, but the piece is still fine quality and very attractive. Without question, the finest crystals of Danburite in the world are those from Charcas.
