Item Description

The Braen's Quarry in New Jersey has been a seldom collected quarry for years, but has been a source of excellent Zeolite specimens and associated species. This piece features no Zeolites, but it hosts lovely "water green" color crystals of Datolite. The crystals have great luster and very sharp faces, along with wonderful gemminess in areas. Even though the crystals are small, one does not see Datolite of this quality from many localities. There is a bit of damage around the periphery, but overall, a worthwhile "hand" sized specimen. A good example of this classic Trap Rock material.
