Item Description

Mineral specimens from this obscure small underground Copper Country mine operated from 1909 to 1919 are RARE and are seldom on the market. However, some copper, datolite, and silver can be found on the mine piles (MINDAT). This colorful and fine sawed and polished porcelaneous datolite nodule end features a highly desirable red core and banding due to copper content surrounded by white datolite. The internal fractures add character. One more slightly smaller 4 mm slab could be cut from this excellent fine rarity.
