Devilline is among the classic European copper minerals, and the finest of these specimens are from Spania Dolina. This locality (formerly called Herrengrund) form platy "rosettes" as is the case with this beautiful specimen. This piece is a very nice specimen of Devilline hosting a beautiful "rosette" of emerald-green tabular blades on matrix. These specimens are next to impossible to obtain on the market these days, and they are highly sought after by European collectors. Please note that the color of the crystals is not exactly as they appear in person, but like several copper minerals, it is difficult to accurately reproduce this unique green color in the photos.
