Item Description

A choice, 1.11 carat rounded diamond with classic adamantine luster and frosted faces from an unknown South Africa locality. The rounded form and frosted faces suggest this crystal may have been found in an alluvial (riverworn) placer deposit and may be an old specimen. Placer diamonds are seldom on the market from Northern Cape Province. From a small select diamond collection.
