Item Description
Brilliant luster, great translucence and superb emerald green color highlight this stunning Dioptase specimen from Mindouli. This Dioptase is something different, it is a really eye-catching architectural specimen of intense color and numerous, interlocking large crystals. There are a few dozen, elongate prismatic crystals (unusual for Dioptase, but not necessarily here) with great luster and numerous internal reflections everywhere...which makes it very difficult to photograph! These extraordinary interconnecting crystals vary in size from 5 mm up to a large 2.2 cm in length!
