Gemmy and lustrous, very rich emerald-green dioptase crystals cover the sculptural, undulating specimen on this stunning specimen of classic old Congo dioptase This striking piece is of rare size and caliber for the locality. These crystals do have not quite the luster of a Tsumeb dioptase (or the best Kaokoveld pieces), but have even deeper green color to them. This would represent a specimen of excellent quality, most likely from the late 1960s or early 1970s I am told. Pristine. Ex Matt Webb Collection. Valued at $1200. MUCH, MUCH BETTER PERSON!!!
