Dioptase on Calcite

Gemmy and lustrous, rich emerald-green, dioptase crystals to 8 mm are richly clustered on the contrasting, translucent, calcite rhomb matrix. This is classic and desirable combination material from this renowned locale. A bit of scattered bruising is noted, but this remains a very showy, excellent and highly representative example of the species and famous mine.
