Lustrous and gemmy, deep emerald-green dioptase crystals cover the calcite matrix on this very rich and showy specimen from the Type Locality in Kazakhstan, Altyn Tyube. The large, doubly terminated crystal on the right is 1.5 cm and the dioptase knob in the center is striking. The bit of periphery wear is a modest detraction. Fine and rich material from this famous locale. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON. Valued $900-1200
