Item Description

Siderite is a RARE accessory from this famous old lead and fluorospar mine, that closed in 1931 and this is a very fine two-sided combination plate. The tiny, brown, flattened siderite rhombs on the front are richly strewn with glassy, sharp dipyramidal quartz crystals. A classy accent is the cluster of gemmy/translucent, bi-colored light purple and green fluorite cubes at the top. The fluorites richly spill over onto the back side of the plate. Purple fluorescence. Choice and rare combination material in this richness and quality from the Boltsburn Mine.
