Doubly terminated Azurite

Parallel-growth opposing clusters of highly lustrous, sharply terminated azurite crystals from the recent finds at Kerrouchene, Morocco form an aesthetic miniature. The elongated, tabular, midnight-blue azurite crystals have striking areas of "electric-blue" color under bright light and some crystals are doubly terminated. The bit of attached matrix adds character to this sculptural piece. Scattered noted termination contacting/bruising is certainly only a modest detraction to this excellent example from this locale.
