A classic and colorful large calcite from Elmwood and the Consie Prince Collection. This very glassy doubly terminated beauty has the much sought-after, gemmy, golden-amber terminations flanking the translucent, colorless, mid-section. The lightly contacted backside harbors a 6.7 cm, doubly terminated, twinned and partly cleaved crystal, as a nice accent. The large calcite is really in great shape, overall. The terminations and the frontal view of the body have only the slightest of edge wear. A classic, older and highly representative larger example from this renowned locale.
