Item Description

A striking, large, very sharp and lustrous, doubly terminated, pinkish-tan, microcline crystal is jauntily set in microcline matrix on this impressive large specimen from the well-known Moat Mountain locality in Hampshire. The overall aesthetics of this piece is fine and it looks likes there is a possible black annnite crystal embedded in the termination. Annite is an uncommon mica group species. In any case, a fine East Coast specimen of feldspar Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
