Item Description
A classic, pristine, doubly terminated sapphire from Sri Lanka. Color ranges from yellow to colorless on this lustrous, gemmy, tapered crystal. The crystal faces are frosted and the edges are rounded, indicating this crystal was stream tumbled a bit. This remains a highly representative example of the species from this noted locale. Ex Schlichter Collection. 21.71 carats or over 4 grams.
