Dryhead Agate

Item Description

We do not put many specimens of agate in the auctions, because they are typically seen as a rather "low-end" rock. But some of the varieties are prized by collectors, as these Montana "dryhead" agates are, with their gorgeous colors and patterns locked inside the surrounding nodules. This one shows delicate banding of pink and earth tones. It has been polished to bring out the beauty, as is usual for these.
