Item Description

A classic and showy bi-colored tourmaline combination from Stak Nala. A pristine 4.8 cm doubly termimated tourmaline crystal is aesthetically partially cloaked with separated pearlescent cleavelandite blades and muscovite plate clusters. The interesting translucent primary cityscape termination is an unusual straw-yellow with a thin green zone above the schorl to olive-green body. The sharp trigonal pyramidal basal termination is deceptive, as back lighting reveals beautiful bottle-green gemminess. Excellent tourmaline from the Uwe Strauss Collection.
