Item Description

Rare and aesthetic combination material from a New Find in this obscure area of China. A striking and unusual looking, 6.0 cm, doubly terminated calcite crystal is jauntily perched on a cluster of sharp, partially iridescent, chalcopyrite crystals. The terminations are very sharp, gemmy and have pretty light amber color. The distinctively different, bulbous, colorless body is composed of a myriad of highly lustrous, stepped-growth, calcite rhombs. This is a complete all-around nearly pristine, FLOATER, specimen with only very trivial bruising to the upper termination area. Value of the incredibly unusual, rare and showy combo to the calcite or locality collector? We believe $400-500 is fair. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
