Item Description

A striking and superb large example of Michigan celestine. It is a doubly terminated, flattened floater of two intergrown crystals with dramatically different terminations. One end has two spearpoints with the other being a single, textbook, chisel termination. The translucent and lustrous specimen has typically variable, gray-gray color. The rich sprinkling of glassy, amber, calcite scalenohedrons and the amazing doubly terminated celestine, that impales the large crystal are very dramatic and noteworthy acents. Essentially pristine, with only the most trivial of edgewear. This is a classic Newport celestine with unusually fine aesthetics and impressive composition. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
