Item Description

An unusual looking manganoan calcite from the New Find in China. This is an intergrown, floater pair of translucent, doubly terminated, pseudohexagonal crystals. They have nifty looking, different colored layers of pink to white. The upper termination has a multitude of parallel-growth rhombs poking up, while the lower termination is a flat cap of the white calcite. There is even a little 5 mm quartz point at the base on one side. Nearly pristine with just a trivial bit of side wear. Very showy and different-looking material from this locale. SUPER orange-pink fluorescence!
