A beautiful 4.0 cm, doubly terminated, gem, smoky quartz crystal aesthetically set on granitic matrix from Switzerland. This is what classic, Swiss Alpine smoky quartz is all about. The glassy, transparent, sharply terminated crystal has fine smoky color and the internal crazing adds much character. Complete all-around and very nearly pristine, with only very trivial termination bruising. Choice material from the Ed Bancroft Collection.
