Striking layered clays accented with green chlorite form surreal phantoms in one end of this stunning doubly terminated gem smoky quartz crystal from this obscure Minas Gerais locale. The smoky has rich color and is unusually steeply terminated at one end. An amazing, nearly pristine floater, with only a bit of bruising on the steep tip and a tiny wilber on the phantom end.
