A striking, really nifty, doubly terminated set of variably sized amethyst/smoky quartz scepters from the famous Goboboseb Mountains of Namibia. The crystals are glassy, transparent and have vivid and variable purple and smoky color zoning. Very unusually, the smoky colors are concentrated on the edges of the crystals, framing the amethyst interiors! The sculptural frontal view is essentially pristine. Contacting on part of the backside is out of sight on the display view. This facinating and excellent Brandberg scepter is from the Charlie Key dealer stock.
