Elbaite with Albite

Item Description

Large, terminated, bi-color, Elabaite tourmaline crystal jacketed in a large rosette of bladed Albite (cleavelandite). The Elbaite crystal is medium to dark green, translucent to transparent with a pink and green mottled termination. The Albite is in excellent condition exhibiting curved, bladed aggregates that complement the Elbaite crystal nicely. The tourmaline crystal is striated with good luster and has sharp edges and minor internal fracturing. An aesthetic combination specimen that displays well.
