Here we have a classic Colombian Emerald gem. For many years, the best Emeralds in the world have been coming out of Colombia, held in high esteem for the color and quality. Emeralds are one of the few true precious gems, cherished for their amazing color and durability. People have admired Emeralds for thousands of years, as ancient records tell us Emeralds were known and sold in markets in Babylon as early as 4000 BC. This "Emerald" cut gem has a glowing light green hue, and even though there are some slight inclusions, it should be noted that Emerald is classified as Type-3 gemstone, which means that inclusions (even small ones) are typically present, and accepted by jewelers, collectors and dealers, so the minor inclusions in this gem are what one could expect in most Emeralds. It's impossible to precisely replicate the color in a photo or video and I feel like this one looks better in person. A cool gem for any fan of Emeralds.
