Item Description

This nearly 300-gram mass of intergrown emeralds is a very significant locality specimen simply fo rthe size, and color impact, of having so much pure emerald in one place. It has really rich, deep green color, unusually good for this Brazilian material, actually. These are chemically or physically removed from surrounding matrix, and this piece probably ahd a top layer of calcite removed, and was contacted to schist on the bottom (its backside, on which schist still remains). Unfortunately, it does have some minor damage, and is contacted at the periphery (including at the top termination), though it still displays pretty impressively and is, for this locality, worth considering. It is an heirloom piece long owned by a customer of mine, whom I am selling it for now.
