Item Description

Classic Casapalca orthorhombic Enargite crystals measuring up to 2.0 cm with an iridescent coating on the surface (possibly Chalcoite or Bornite?) The piece has good balance and aesthetics and only minimal damage. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7900). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
