Item Description
An old time specimen of Peruvian Enargite from the famous historic Quiruvilca Mine. The piece features several fine quality, sharp, lustrous, thin prismatic crystals of silvery-grey colored Enargite measuring up to 1.8 cm sitting aesthetically on sparkling metallic golden Pyrite matrix. Great quality all around, with VERY little damage. As you can see, the piece is incredibly showy and aesthetic, which is a big deal for this material because these specimens can often be rather boring and/or flat. This piece is dramatic, three-dimensional and eye-catching. It even displays beautifully without the aid of a base or clay. The piece probably dates back as far as the 1970s. Priced at $950 in the inventory.
