Item Description
A shocking, textbook crystal of epidote with such sharp form and luster, that at first look, without holding it, it seems more like a manganotantalite or some metallic species! This is sharp, unusually elongated, and a floater. It is complete all around! This is a monoclinic, highly lustrous black doubly-terminated crystal from the legendary dealer and collector, Luis Menezes (Luis Menezes Minerals, Prado, Belo Horizonte, Brazil). Alex got it directly from Luis for his sharp single crystal suite.
