Beautifully aesthetic, rich and sculptural epidote with quartz from Alaska's Green Monster Mountain, easily the source of the finest US epidotes. Dramatically intergrown prisms are strikingly accented with classy quartz points on the front and back of this pristine floater small cabinet. The textbook elongated lustrous dark olive-green prisms have desirable areas of contrasting light olive-green translucence under bright light, adding much pizzazz. The stunning 3.4 cm doubly terminated crestal prism with sharp chisel tips is artistically accented by the two quartz "ears" above. Every turn reveals a different aspect of the outstanding crystallization. Specimens of this excellence and habit were recovered in the 1970s, 80s and 90s.
