Epistilbite (ex Obodda)

I know that Indian Zeolite specimens and associated minerals are fairly common right now, but you must appreciate them for what they are. Many of these pieces are simply some of the finest crystallized examples of their respective species extant. This piece features a peach-pink colored, 1.6 cm group of fine quality, sharp, gemmy to translucent, pearly, bladed crystals of the rare Zeolite Epistilbite with sugary Quartz on basalt matrix. The piece is in great shape all around, and the Epistilbite is undamaged. One day (eventually) India will not produce any more of these zeolites and associated speices, and they will more than likely receive great recognition for being the amazing display specimens that they are. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock, with a 15+ year old label that values that piece at $300, so it's certainly worth more today.
